The Challenge

Magnises approached Carrot to address a critical issue: the need to deliver content efficiently and elegantly to its prospective and active users. Beyond providing a responsive design solution by evolving the Magnises brand and delivering features that would resonate with its users.

The Idea

An ambitious startup with great early traction, Magnises was and is highly focused on scalability. Carrot was able to provide product strategy that focused on scalable operations, leading to Magnises spinning off a concierge app named Magnises Now. This strategy resulted in a more focused web experience where Magnises could better market for its own bottom line.

The Details

Carrot advocated for building a slow graph among users in the Magnises network. After all, each member arrived at Magnises for a reason—to be part of a community of multi-faceted yet like-minded individuals. Carrot’s design efforts promoted a graph that brings members together around exclusive experiences, thus adding tangible value to the community.

Carrot’s combination of product strategy and scalable design solutions are helping Magnises as they expand their platform in exciting directions including a new city launch. Magnises: Washington, D.C. is set to launch in May 2015.
